Sparkly dress for Amelie

Today I would like to show you the new dress for Amelia, and without doubts, her favorite...

She loves it because it has everything that a little girl loves: trounces, tulle, lots of fullness and shine. The opposite of measured, jajaja!

I bought the fabric from MISAN, it is really soft. When Amelia saw it, she asked if it was for a new dress for her, obviously yes ( I had no choice).

PATRONAJE: (PATTERN)

I started the pattern drawing the same way that the previous dress for Amelia. I draw the basic block for body and sleeve, and then I gave them a fullness (or with) of one centimeter in underarm both for sleeve and body. The body is evasé. The dress is cut at hip level. We add as much fabric as fullness we like in the skirt.

(I saw all seams with domestic sewing machine and I finished them with my Bernina Overlock)

(I finished the collar with a bias of the main fabric)

(I didn´t want this dress so dull and to avoid that, I closed the dress wiz a metal zip in the back. I think it´s cool!)

(The skirt is made of tulle, I bought it in a shop of Berwick street. I´m so sorry, I don´t remember the name. The skirt has two layers of very soft tulle and it is lined with a viscose knitted fabric. This lining makes the dress very soft and comfortable, the most important features in children clothing).

(I gather the sleeve in the wrist with a elastic band)

(The favorite part of the dress for Amelia is the frill on the shoulder made of tulle).

I think that this garment is very beautiful and it is very suitable for Christmas days...
